Albino Toad Whois

Added 04/20/2008 - [ Link ]

This was another quick project. I've always been annoyed by the existing options for web-based whois queries. This annoyance caused me to ask how hard could it really be to write my own who-is query site. It's very plan. I hope you like it.

Albino Toad

Added 04/14/2008 - [ Link ]

This is a quick little project. I've always been a fan of IP Chicken, a site that a user could go to and find what their IP address is. It's faster than ipconfig /all and it's something that even a novice user could handle. I created Albino Toad in an attempt to make something better than IP Chicken. I wanted to create something more readable and more informative. I think I've succeeded.

Psi 0.10 BartPE Plugin

Added 04/14/2008 - [ Download ]

There is a simple story to this item. I was working on updating the Windows PE / UBCD combination disc used at work and it was requested that I include the instant messaging program Psi so that if a technician is out in the field and either can't get a hold of a supervisor via the phone or gets bored scanning for spyware on a client's computer, they can login to the department's Jabber server. No PE plugin existed for Psi so I wrote up a quick inf file and help file for it, tested it and added it to the disc.

Milwaukee Freeway Cam Widget

Added 04/14/2008 - [ Download ]

This is cool. This is an update to a widget by Eric Jacobi that I found for konfabulator about 2 years ago before konfabulator was absorbed into the yahoo collective and became yahoo widgets. It had never been updated and was badly broken so I updated the list of cameras it accesses, changed it from organizing the cameras by freeway to organizing the cameras by quadrant of the city so you could focus on your part of town, and changed the way it tags images with a description. I primarily wrote this widget for my own use but I thought I would offer it to all.
