Dunn denies responsibility for HP spying
September 28th, 2006 . by joe
In sworn testimony, Ms Dunn sought to deflect blame for the scandal, argung that she had relied on members of HP management team, including Mark Hurd, chief excecutive, and Ann Baskins, who resigned as general counsel on Thursday, to guide the tactics used by investigators hunting for the source of press leaks inside the company’s board.
Her comments came as Mr Hurd prepared to offer his own testimony before members of the House Committee. Ms Baskins and several others involved in the leak probe declined to testify, citing their fifth amendment rights against self-incrimination.
