1987 Hijacking Of A Chicago TV Signal

This is cool.  On Sunday, November 22nd, 1987, a video pirate wearing a Max Headroom mask managed to break into two television broadcasts.  He first broke into the Nine O’Clock news on channel 9 for around 30 seconds and then around 11:15pm, he broke into a channel 11 broadcast of Dr. Who.

Joe Barbera dies at 95

Joe Barbera, half of the Hanna-Barbera animation team that produced such beloved cartoon characters as Tom and Jerry, Yogi Bear and the Flintstones, died Monday, a Warner Bros. spokesman said. He was 95.

Futurama’s David X. Cohen interview - new episodes in 2008

We will also be shedding light on several lingering questions from the original run, including hitherto unknown facts about Nibbler, dark matter and Seymour the dog.
