I’m wondering where the parents were.
A 15-year-old girl has been arrested for taking nude photographs of her self and posting them on the Internet, police said.
…
She has been charged with sexual abuse of children, possession of child pornography and dissemination of child pornography.

With the ubiquity of Windows in today’s world, this could be a very good thing. I just hope they properly implement it.
Microsoft is working on a remote access tunneling protocol for Vista and Longhorn Server that lets client devices securely access networks via a VPN from anywhere on the Internet without concern for typical port blocking issues.
The Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol (SSTP) creates a VPN tunnel that travels over Secure-HTTP, eliminating issues associated VPN connections based on the Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) or Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP) that can be blocked by some Web proxies, firewalls and Network Address Translation (NAT) routers that sit between clients and servers.
The protocol, however, is only for remote access and will not support site-to-site VPN tunnels.

Swedish file-sharing website The Pirate Bay is planning to buy its own nation in an attempt to circumvent international copyright laws.
The group has set up a campaign to raise money to buy Sealand, a former British naval platform in the North Sea that has been designated a ‘micronation’, and claims to be outside the jurisdiction of the UK or any other country.
…
According to a website set up to secure the purchase of Sealand, The Pirate Bay plans to give citizenship of the micronation to anyone willing to put money towards the purchase.
“It should be a great place for everybody, with high-speed Internet access, no copyright laws and VIP accounts to The Pirate Bay,” the organisation claims on its website www.buysealand.com.

There’s a large scale spam run underway, sending short e-mail messages. No text, just the subject field of “Happy New Year!” and a file named postcard.exe as an attachment.
The attachments are variable, but so far we detect them all as Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Tibs.jy. We have a description online too.
In general, kill all files named “postcard.exe”. They always seem to be bad news.
