What happens when old Russian buses are retired

published on July 5th, 2007 . by joe

If I had one of these old buses, I’d just drive a route on weekends for fun. :)

It usually has maybe already old-fashioned “back from sixties” interior, but still it’s OK for short trips.

$600 not enough to pay for your iPhone? Dip it in crystals!

published on July 5th, 2007 . by joe

This is just too much.  I’d love to meet the person stupid enough to pay for this.

They immersed the Jesus phone in a pool of real swarovski crystals and more than 3000 Tiny SS7 swarovski crystals were individually affixed to the iPhone. You can choose your blinged Jesus phone in many patterns and colors at Crystal Icing for $295

DVD Jon Hacks iPhone to activate without AT&T

published on July 4th, 2007 . by joe

It’s not a secret that I think the iPhone is a complete waste of money but I am a fan of the idea of being able to do what you want with what you pay good money for.  I guess Jon Lech Johansen’s hack makes it so that you can use everything on the phone except the phone.

I’ve found a way to activate a brand new unactivated iPhone without giving any of your money or personal information to AT&T NSA. The iPhone does not have phone capability, but the iPod and WiFi work.

published on March 15th, 2007 . by joe

Have you ever looked at your USB thumb drive and wondered why you couldn’t be storing your files on a small, plastic novelty dog that humps you laptop whilst you files are read?  Me neither.  At least one person has though.
