Man Auctions Naming Rights For Himself

published on January 6th, 2007 . by joe

Scott MacDonald is allowing the highest bidder to choose a new name for him.  As of 01/02/07, the highest bid is $36,789.10 and the winning name is “Finest Freshest Fastest.”  If that wins, would his friends just call him Finest?

Choose My Name is simple. There is an auction on the naming rights of me, the auction ends on February 2nd, 2007. Anyone can submit an offer and the winner gets to pick the my new name. I will legally change my name to whatever you choose and keep it for one year. Please note I will refuse any offers for rude, racist or offensive names. Have fun with it, be creative. The media seems to be much more interested in a fun or humorous name, rather than a web site URL. But that’s your choice.
