May 15th, 2006 . by joe
Diebold Election Systems has announced that it plans to make changes to its electronic voting machines following the release of report by the voting watchdog organization Black Box voting detailing how Diebold’s TS6 and TSx touch-pad voting machines could be compromised by taking advantage of a backdoor built into the Windows CE based devices. A Diebold spokesman said they can not say when they would be addressing the issue but it could be done in time for the November 7 general election in the U.S.
