Why can’t the police stop picking on the greased, naked population?
A high school lunch period was disrupted Monday by a greased, naked student who ran around screaming and flailing his arms until police twice used a stun gun on him, authorities said.
Taylor Killian, 18, had rubbed his body with grapeseed oil to keep from being caught, and got up after the first time he was shocked to continue running toward a group of frightened students huddled in a corner at Westerville North High School, Lt. Jeff Gaylor said.

This is cool. On Sunday, November 22nd, 1987, a video pirate wearing a Max Headroom mask managed to break into two television broadcasts. He first broke into the Nine O’Clock news on channel 9 for around 30 seconds and then around 11:15pm, he broke into a channel 11 broadcast of Dr. Who.

This must be a collector’s ultimate dream. These cars have been sitting in a warehouse with it’s doors welded shut for over 15 years. Some of the cars are suffering from rust but it looks to me like most just need a good wash.

I’ve always loved abandoned buildings and such.
The subway project was scrapped without a single train ever having run. The debt incurred by the project wasn’t fully paid until 1966, at a cost of $13 million–in addition to the lives of several workers. According to someone who e-mailed me, the subway is said to be haunted by the ghosts of the dead workmen. The only thing remotely resembling the paranormal which occurred while we were travelling through the subway happened when we were about a mile in; in the middle of a sentence we both heard a “shhh” sound, like someone shushing us. Creepy, but then again we heard lots of noises coming from traffic overhead.
