This is a good day. Someone apparently ported DosBox to PalmOS. If Palm ever releases another GSM treo, I’ll have to try this.
It doesn’t only emulate an x86 CPU but also a DOS environment, so you can’t install another x86 operating system. But you can run many DOS apps / games in this DOS environment, even Windows until 3.11 and maybe even Windows 95 / 98.

This photo made me smile. I guess the females of this species prefers males with big noses, so all male proboscis monkeys have really big noses.

Yeah, this is just another instance of Microsoft jumping on the bandwagon after everybody else did.
Microsoft’s Office suite is the undisputed ruler of desktop software, but with Google moving in on Web-based office applications, Microsoft was sure to follow. Microsoft may offer basic versions of its word processing and spreadsheet software which will be supported by advertising.
Microsoft is pondering making its Works software available online, but is also careful not to cannibalize its sales of Office as it is one of the software giant’s leading sources of revenue. Microsoft may opt to offer its online software with a subscription-based model.

Eh, I don’t like Facebook but it’s interesting that Yahoo supposedly likes them so much.
Yahoo apparently is in the final stages of negotiations to acquire social network directory Facebook. According to the newspaper, Facebook had similar talks about a possible sale of the company to Microsoft and Viacom. The volume of the acquisition is unclear, but could reach up to $1 billion, the WSJ wrote.
